The Comprehensive Planning Commission has had a small mapping team, comprised of Andy Steel and Brandon Saddler, that has been producing digital maps to aide the different sections of the Comprehensive Plan. The maps were produced on ESRI software (ArcMap9.3.1) on both the Summers County Addressing machine and the National Park Service machine. The maps are produced individually and are exported as Portable Document Files (PDF's), and are printed on plotters as large as forty inches wide. The maps that have been produced thus far are as follows:
>Scenic Resource Map (viewshed)
>Infrastructure
>Historical Points and Areas
>Existing Water and Sewer Lines
>Proposed Water and Sewer Lines
>Digital Elevation Models with hillshading and contours
>Elevation
>Slope Percentage
>Aerial Imagery
>FCC Communication Towers (listed and unlisted)
>Tiger Line Water Resources
>Roads
>Adopt-A-Highway
>Structure Points & Footprints
>Population Density
>Parks & Recreation
